sudo /etc/init.d/mysql stop
sudo mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables
mysql
UPDATE mysql.user SET Password=PASSWORD('P@ssw@rd1') WHERE User='root';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
CRTL-C to stop mysqld_safe process
sudo /etc/init.d/mysql start
