Exchange 2007: My first installation

The screenshot below shows the summary of my first Exchange Server 2007 installation. Exchange 2007 requires a 64-bit Windows Server operating system, so this was an opportunity to test the Windows Server 2008 RC0 hypervisor on my new Intel Q6600 Quad Core system.

Oops, 90 minutes in total ;(. At least I could finally test an Exchange Server 2007 installation myself. I reinstalled the Q6600 server’s hard drive with Vista x64 and plan to use VMware Workstation 6.0, which supports 64-bit guest operating systems. RC0 is very slow for me at the moment.
